When intelligent architecture meets appreciation for nature, magic happens. In the unspoiled Serifos, the sleeper hit of the Cyclades and a summer retreat of interior designers and architects who prefer to keep the sandy beaches to themselves, one can experience luxury accommodation in Maera. Villa Maera, one of the most luxurious beachfront villas in Serifos, is the perfect example of superior design with respects to the landscape. Comprising approximately 345 sq.m. of living space, its beautiful architecture brilliantly captures the inherent beauty of the island, maximises natural light and allows the trade winds to cool the home. Enjoying an idyllic cliff-top position, the villa is divided into three levels, boasting five large bedroom suites in the main house with an additional independent guesthouse. A minimal internal staircase in wooden hues connects the upper level to the spacious open-concept living room and dining room which flow seamlessly into the large kitchen. The high vaulted ceilings and large glass windows create a unique ambience with incredible views to the sea and the sky. Designed with outdoor living in mind, most rooms boast wide verandas with stunning views, opening onto the expansive patio and the free form pool, which visually blends into the οpen sea. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Aegean sea and wake up to glorious sunrises in a unique construction that seemingly hovers above sea level, integrating to the landscape, yet maintaining a dynamic presence. Idyllic in locale, construction, and architectural significance, Maera is the ultimate living experience amid disarming surroundings.
